Police Log: Suspicious Man Approaches School Teacher, Vehicles Rummaged Through

Saturday, January 12:
At 1:58 a.m. police arrested Aaron Hurley, age 19 of Hull for operating under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Main Street and Aberdeen Road.
At 9:52 p.m. a caller at Kohl’s reported a female shoplifter ran out of the store and got away in a black vehicle driven by a male. The shoplifter gave back all the items but fled the scene. Police in Weymouth located the suspect.

At 10:27 a.m. a married couple reported their cars were entered on Middle Street overnight and items were tossed around. Nothing was reported stolen.
At 1:19 p.m. an employee at Hingham Liquors asked to speak to an officer about another employee stealing from the business.

At 1:27 p.m. a principal from St. Paul’s Catholic School asked to speak with an officer about a suspicious man with a white hat who approached a teacher on Friday. The teacher believes he took a photo of her.
Sunday, January 13:
At 1:38 a.m. a city cab driver reported a passenger refused to pay for a ride and fled on Ward Street.
