Cooking Fundraiser Planned for Hingham High South Africa Trip

Good Life Kitchen in Norwell offers cooking classes to all sizes and types of groups and participates in many fundraisers.

The Good Life Kitchen in Norwell will host a fundraiser next month for a group of 16 Hingham High School students who are traveling to South Africa this summer.

The students are going on the trip with teacher Christina O'Connor through a company called World Challenge. They will spend four weeks in South Africa and its land-locked neighbor Lesotho.

"There, they will go on hiking expeditions, do community service, and will explore the culture and scenery of South Africa," student traveler Teresa Burns said in an announcement.

"Have you ever wanted to learn how to cook South African food? If so, then join Chef Bernard Kinsella for a South African food cooking class at The Good Life Kitchen, located in Norwell," Burns said.

"The class will take place at 6:00pm on Thursday, February 6th. The cost is $40 per person, and the proceeds will benefit the Hingham World Challenge South Africa Trip.

"The cooking night is limited to 21 spots, and first come first served! If you are interested in attending, please contact Brendan Whitney at brendan.whitney@comcast.net.

"Many thanks to Chef Kinsella and the talented staff at Good Life Kitchen (http://www.goodlifekitchen.com/) for his generous support."
