Hingham SEPAC Presents Shut Up About Your Perfect Kid!

On Jan. 31, two sisters will share stories of raising a special child in a world preoccupied with perfection.

Two sisters will come to Hingham to share the humorous and heartwarming side of raising children with disabilities.

Gina (Terrasi) Gallagher and Patricia (Terrasi) Konjoian are among the growing number of parents raising children with disabilities and on January 31 at the South Shore Country Club they will give a presentation sharing their experiences with parents in the same position.

The two sisters share a love of wine, humor, and writing and during their presentation they will share stories of raising a special child in a world preoccupied with perfection.

Inspired by the success of their sisterly heroines and fed up with listening to parents brag about their “perfect children” and never asking about theirs, the Terrasi sisters decided to self-publish their first book, “Shut Up About Your Perfect Kid!” in 2006.

The Terrasi sisters’ presentation in Hingham is organized by Hingham Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) and will include appetizers and desserts with coffee or tea.  There will also be a cash bar provided.  Tickets are $10 and guests should RSVP by January 20.  If space is available, tickets will be sold for $15 at the door.
