The South Shore Conservatory will hold their seventh annual fundraising gala at the end of the January with an evening full of music, dancing, a silent auction and raffle and food and drink.

The Chase Away the Winter Blues benifit night will be held on Jan 26 from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight at One Conservatory Drive, Hingham.  This year will have a Paris theme and the music venues will include Harry’s New York Bar, Rendez Vous, Café Georges and Moulin Rouge, according to SSC Media Relations representatives Michelle McGrath.

All guests will enjoy jazz ensembles and vocalists, a piano bar, amazing acoustic guitar, and In the House, one of Boston’s best rhythm and blues dance bands,  McGrath said in a press release.

Tickets for the even are $100 and will include open bar and complimentary valet parking.  There will also be special $250 tickets which will offer admission to the pre-event Champagne Scholarship Reception from 6 to 7 p.m.

Blues raises between $80,000 to $100,000 to support scholarship and educational programming at the Conservatory, according to McGrath.  Support for the scholarship fund assists hundreds of students who would otherwise not be able to afford a quality arts education.
