Hingham Resident Recognized For Efforts in Ending Homelessness

Jeff Conway, a Hingham resident will receive HomeStart's Gold Key Award, the organization's highest honor.

State Street executive vice president Jeff Conway will be recognized next month for his leadership skills and efforts in ending homelessness in Boston.

Conway, a Hingham resident will receive HomeStart’s Gold Key Award, the organization’s highest honor.  The Gold Key Award is for individuals who have had a major impact in helping advance HomeStart’s mission of preventing and ending homelessness in Greater Boston and is symbolic of the ways in which permanent housing can positively impact all aspects of a person’s life.

“It is a great honor to receive this award from HomeStart, an organization whose mission of ending homelessness in greater Boston is not only  priority of mine but also aligned with our core value at State Street of  being a ‘global force and local citizen,’” said Conway in a written statement. “Through my work with HomeStart, I am able to support services to the city’s most vulnerable individuals and families.  These services have never been more vital given the economic environment and its disproportionate impact on our most disadvantaged citizens.”
