Linden Ponds Walk Raises $13,000 for Alzheimer's

Linden Ponds, on a scenic 108-acre campus in Hingham, is one of 16 continuing care retirement communities managed by Erickson Living.

More than 100 people who live and work at Linden Ponds in Hingham came together recently to walk in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” walk in Plymouth, raising $13,000 for the cause.

Linden Ponds, part of the national network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Living, made a donation of $5,000, according to a press release. Residents, staff, students and families raised more than $8,000. 

“This is always a wonderful event and we are thrilled to be a part of it every year to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association,” Harriette Tenaglia, Volunteer Program Coordinator, Linden Ponds and Linden Ponds Memory Walk Committee Chair, said. “It was a wonderful day."

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
