The SSYP, with your assistance, looks forward to making a significant contribution to The SAMFund. Founded in 2003, the broad mission of Surviving And Moving Forward: The SAMFund for Young Adult Survivors of Cancer is to assist cancer survivors in the United States between the ages of 17 and 35 with their transition into a successful post-treatment life. While wonderful organizations exist for both cancer patients and survivors to provide support, none were solely to provide financial assistance for young adult survivors struggling with this difficult transition. Young adult survivors have distinctly different emotional, financial and medical needs than those of adults or children who are currently in treatment, and the SAMFund strives to fill that gap. Please visit thesamfund.org to learn more about who and how they have helped.

The South Shore Young Professionals is honored to partner with an organization whose mission is so inline with its own. Founded in 2008, the SSYP to provide information, resources, and opportunities to young professionals and businesses on the South Shore.
