The South Shore Hospital and South Shore Orthopedics will open a their new outpatient Center for Orthopedics, Spine and Sports Medicine in Hingham on October 3. James F. Green, the director of the Orthopedic Service Line is calling the new center, located at 2 Pond Park Road, a “one stop shop” for patients who need muscular skeletal care. “It’s a combined effort on the part of the hospital and our surgeons to provide muscular skeletal care in one location,” Green said. “We have the capacity for diagnostics, treatment, surgery, and pain management, all located within this building.” On Saturday, the new center, located off Route 3, Exit 15, held a free Sports and Health Festival for the South Shore community.
