Hypodermic Needle Found In Crow Point

A syringe needle was found at this telephone pole at the corner of Bulow Road and Lincoln Street on Monday morning.

The syringe was found by a resident who called police.

Here is a list of tips offered by the Weymouth police on what to do if you find a hypodermic needle.

DO’s

-DO call the police station and have them come and retrieve the needle for proper disposal.


DO NOT’s


-DO NOT touch the needle.
-DO NOT attempt to break the needle.
-DO NOT try to re-cap an uncapped needle.
-DO NOT throw needle into regular trash receptacles, dumpsters, sewers, or catch basins.
